Mandy’s Monthly!- February

Well…it has been about 3 weeks and 5 races later!  I know…I know it is still only March.   Daryn & the #25 team have had a few up and down weeks!   The first week of March the boys crashed on the first lap, but repaired the car and ended up finishing 3rd!  Not bad since we started last.  The next weekend Daryn got involved in a crash and finished last.  Daryn’s travel now days is very tricky for us personally since the Dr has told us that Baby Taylor is due anyday now!!  We are ready and waiting…

This weekend was the first two day show in the PA area for Daryn & the #25 boys.   They started the feature at Lincoln in 17th and finished 13th.  (From what I was told there was not too much passing, and they struggled from the get go but then again I was not there!   BTW…it is very hard not being there watching Daryn but thanks to friends’ text messaging during the race I stay pretty up to date!! J  )  Saturday afternoon was the first Port Royal show of the season.  Daryn started on the front row outside lead 22 laps and then was passed in lap traffic.  So…it was good to finish 2nd but not the 2nd we were looking for.  Sometimes it is actually better to be in 2nd and watch the leader maneuver through traffic and then pick your line….oh well still another top 5 finish for the team. 

Next weekend will see Daryn and the boys begin with the season opener at Williams Grove for the first night show of the PA season.   Daryn is looking forward to racing at night again!!  Saturday the team will travel to Lincoln for another showing.  Well, we will keep everyone posted on the baby situation.  Stay tuned for a more finalized schedule.  

Big news … #25 t-shirts will be available soon!   Daryn will have them at the trailer until I can make it out to sell at the fence at the Grove!! 
 So opinion time now because I am confused….since we are racing in PA and for a PA car owner is Pittman actually Posse???
