Mandy’s Monthly!- September
I looked back the other day and realized that again Mandy’s Monthly is really a month and a half- sorry! Well, it is that time of year where racing begins to slow down with only weekend shows, but it still seems non stop for us. The Nationals was a great time for all involved except the racing which was very disappointing. It is so nice to spend a week with family and friends!
After Kville we headed home to begin wrapping up the Titan shop. We sold most of the things the week before Kville to Matt from Victory Lane in Australia. We do still have the truck and trailer along with 2 Don Ott engines for sale if you know of anyone in the market!! J We finally locked the doors this past week and moved all the extra stuff to storage. Thanks to the Sharpleys, McLovin, and everyone else that threw in a helping hand to move all those things!
Racing since Knoxville has been yucky with the exception of this past weekend. The crew built a new Maxim which was debuted this past Friday at the Grove’s triple 20s. We won 2 of 3 features!! Daryn has been down the past few months trying to figure out the other chassis and it has been very frustrating for him and the team. Well, Daryn said he felt comfortable in the car immediately and was fast all weekend long. Hopefully we can end our season on a positive note!
We also took Taylor to her first state fair. We searched the entire fair for chicken on a stick (my favorite) we finally found it as we were leaving so I ordered one and ate it on the way out! We will be going to the Port Royal Tuscarora 50 this weekend too…which is also at the fair. Fair food…yummy!
Taylor is almost 6 months old now and that is so hard to believe. She is rolling over, eating cereal (and making a mess doing it), grabs anything she can get her hands on then it always goes straight to the mouth! Daryn & I are enjoying almost every minute of parenthood!
Tshirts are on sale for $15 now so stock up for Christmas presents!!
