Mandy’s Monthly!- December

Well the Christmas lights are on the house, the tree is up and decorated, and presents are going under the tree - It is time for Santa!  I can't believe Christmas is right around the corner.  It seems like we just finished racing - although for us it never ends!!

We had a week off over Thanksgiving for a family vacation with Daryn's parents and his brother's family.  The girls, only 1 day apart, had a blast.  Although, our latest sleep in was 8:30 since Taylor literally woke up saying "swimming!"  We had a great time and it was nice to be in warm weather!!

I worked my first trade show for Race Gear X at the IMIS last week.  We had alot of people interested in our jackets and crew shirts so hopefully I will be busy processing orders between races this winter.  Check out www.racegearx.com for more info.

Taylor enjoyed her Mimi and Poppy visiting the week of the IMIS and especially her trip to the circus.  They bought her a program, coloring book, and an
elephant which she sleeps with!! 

Daryn and the guys have been busy preparing the Bob Hurley Ford midget for the Powri race in Illinois next weekend.  After that race the next outing for the #21 midget will be the Chili Bowl.   We would like to thank Bob Hurley Ford, Danny's Auto Salvage, BPG, Hop & Sack Convenience Stores, and Ken Tate for making our Chili Bowl appearance possible.  We are looking forward to a good week among family and friends!

Daryn will be driving the #27 Heffner owned 410 sprinter next season with Sean coming on board as a full time crew member.  The new trailer is ordered and we will start the season Feb 3rd in Georgia with the All Stars. We should have a schedule up soon!
