Mandy’s Monthly!- May

Well since I last wrote the weather has warmed up and the sunshine is out …today that is!  Daryn’s racing in PA has been few as rain showers seemed to follow the team wherever they go.  He has raced only a handful of times in PA since the last monthly.   We had Easter at home as Daryn had an early flight so that we could go to church and have Easter dinner with our friends.   It was a nice day!

The next week Daryn drove me to Memphis so that I could see my family for a few days while he flew to PA to race.  Taylor enjoyed her time with her Mimi, Poppy, Nanny, Grandma and other Nanny!  The Memphis area was just starting to flood when I left on Monday to drive to Tulsa.  Daryn raced Salina High Banks in OK on Tuesday with the WOO.  He finally got to race in front of friends and family – it has been a long time!  We had a great night and almost …almost got a win!  I can’t imagine what that victory lane would have been like …maybe one day!  Taylor enjoyed the races and helped me sell shirts after the race…she would hand the person their shirt and say thank you!

Anyway after the WOO race Daryn, me and Taylor drove the car home and Sean drove the rig back to Indy.  On Friday we headed to Eldora …it was chilly and windy but an ok night.  Taylor enjoys being in the motoyhome and had fun with her BFF Olivia on Friday night.  As we pulled up she said race cars and she yelled GO GO DADDY all night!  

We are now on the road headed to PA to begin our summer racing!  I’m excited to be at the track and Taylor is also.  So if you see a wild child running around in the infield and a lady chasing her …its probably us – stop by and say hello!
