Heffner Racing, Daryn Pittman Gearing up For “The Month of Money!”

Heffner Racing Enterprises has had a full season already, racing non-stop for months. Now the team is gearing up for the “Month of Money!”
“It is an exciting month.  There are so many important events coming up for us; it is good to feel like we are in contention to win each and every one of them,” states Heffner Racing’s driver Daryn Pittman.
The Lelands.com #27 machine starts the “Month of Money” tour tonight with the World of Outlaws (WoO) at the Brad Doty Classic at Limaland Motorsports Park, Lima, OH.
“It is an honor to go and support a racing legend like Brad Doty.  He has done a lot for our sport and it would be an honor to win his race,” says Pittman.
On July 15 and 16, Heffner Racing will tackle the high banks at Eldora Speedway for the “Knight Before the King’s Royal” and the “King’s Royal.”
“I always like running at Eldora and winning the Historical Big One and King’s Royal are still at the top of my racing memories.  People try their whole careers to win this race just once so to be ‘King Daryn’ again would be amazing--and it pays $50,000!” Pittman said.
Tuesday, July 19th the WoO and the Heffner Racing team will head to Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, PA for the Don Martin Memorial.  The special $15,000 to win event hosts two main events, giving drivers a chance for a $30,000 payday.
“I was happy we had the chance to race Lernerville earlier in the year.  I feel like we have a good setup for that place.  It was our first win there,” recalled Pittman. “The Don Martin Memorial is a prestigious race and it would be great to add it to the resume.”
After a week of racing away, Heffner Racing will return home to the famed Williams Grove Speedway to try and score a repeat a win against the best in the business during the World Of Outlaws Summer Nationals.  Pittman won the last WoO race held at Williams Grove in May and is a past winner of the event.  The Heffner team hopes to keep the momentum rolling to keep the Morgan Cup and Summer Nationals titles in the state of Pennsylvania.
“I think if we win that race there will be one hell of a celebration by the fans and the team.  We consider Williams Grove our home track and to pull off another win there and beat the WoO again would make our team and especially car owner Mike Heffner very happy!” exclaimed Pittman.
The team will continue touring with the WoO in New York on Sunday, July 24, returning home for the last weekend before the big trek west to the 360 and 410 Nationals in Knoxville, IA.
“Knoxville is the biggest race of the year and I feel like we have a really good 360 engine from Rider and lap time at Knoxville is invaluable.  It will be nice to race the 360 and 410 on Saturday before the Nationals to tune up for the big race the following week.   I want to be as ready as possible for the Knoxville Nationals and I want to give me and the team the best chance of winning that race.  I feel like our team is very capable and the more lap time we can get the better we will be,” stated Pittman.
In between Knoxville races, the boys will make the 30 mile drive to the “Front Row Challenge” at Oskaloosa, IA.
“My car owner loves to collect the trophies from the races we win, but he really wants the weight belt from this race.  It is a great event at Osky and the fans really enjoy themselves,” stated Pittman.
Heffner Racing will debut a new paint scheme for the Knoxville Nationals in honor of the event.
“We are changing the paint scheme for Knoxville and hope the fans like it.” states Pittman.  T-shirts with the special paint scheme will be available at the Summer Nationals in the infield and at the Knoxville Nationals in our apparel trailer by the main grandstands.  Daryn will also host autograph sessions the week of the Nationals. Over the course of the next month, the team will race 14 times at the biggest races of the season!   The #27 team is packed and prepared!
“This next month can make your whole season.  I have very high hopes for the biggest races of the year and I am excited to get started.  I would like to thank Mike, Jimmy, Rhino, Sean, and Kevin for working so hard to get our team prepared  and ready for these big races.  Without a good team a driver is just a fan,” stated Pittman.
