Mandy’s Monthly!- July

Well as the heat is 101 outside today we are headed to Knoxville.  It will be so nice to get there early and race the 360 and 410 Nationals.  Daryn will be running 2 cars on Saturday – the 360 and 410 All Star Show.  My dad will also be there with his car #88 and driver Tim Crawley so Taylor will have 2 cars to cheer for this weekend.
Daryn will be racing the 360 Nationals on Friday and the 410 Nationals on Thursday.  It will be a big and important 10 days in Kville Land at Pittman Square.  In the campground we have 4 motorhomes that make a square therefore we named it Pittman Square!  In our square we have a tent for shade, fans, and even a pool!!  It’s a pretty good set up for the 10 days we will be there.  We hope the racing will be excellent with the #27 leading and #88 second for the 360s and the #27 leading for the 410s!
The last month has been as crazy as always.  We’ve definitely had our highs and lows, but overall it has been a pretty good month for us.  We started off July with back to back wins in Canada- where they only speak French!  It was very weird looking at signs and playing Pictionary to figure out the meaning!  The announcer at the track spoke only French and all the peeps at the concession stand too, but when we won the French were very appreciative with a standing ovation.   We had a great time with Glenno and Sean as we hung out and everything was so relaxed with the exception of our visit to Montreal traffic!
After returning back to the good ole USA we raced the Brad Doty race which ended with a crash in the b main ,Knight before the King’s Royal which we finished 7th,    King’s Royal where we got through the big crash and got tagged by someone else trying to miss the crash …so we crashed ,(Big Congrats to Tyler Walker and the Keen Team…Daryn said with 10 to go …”Tyler’s gonna win this race!”)   We then headed to   Lernerville where we were just very very bad, and the Summer Nationals which resulted in a 3rd place with the WOO and a 13th,  then WOO -  NY we finished 5th ….and now we are headed to Kville!!
I hope everyone can stop by the tshirt trailer at the Knoxville Nationals.  We will have the new design with the special paint scheme and Daryn will also be visiting the trailer to sign autographs daily!!
Hope to see everyone in the next few days, and hopefully in a couple of weeks I am writing a recap of a successful Kville trip!
