Roller Coaster Ride for All Star Action in PA

With a new driver and crew chief working together the Keen Motorsports team ended their weekend on a good note.  Despite having a rough start to the weekend Friday night at Williams Grove Speedway the team now feels they are on the right track to success.  

Friday night saw the team struggle with their qualifying efforts timing in a disappointing 25th position.  The nightmare continued as the team finished 7th in the heat and 5th in the B main.  “When you qualify that bad and put yourself in a huge hole at the beginning of the night it is hard to regain your momentum,” said Pittman after the race Friday night.  “We feel really bad that we were not competitive tonight and even though the track was fairly wet and hard to pass we still need to be a lot better,” said Daryn.   ….READ MORE

After only one weekend under their belts together Keen Motorsports and Daryn Pittman packed their bags and headed southwest to the World of Outlaw races in Lawrenceburg, IN this past weekend.  The team wanted test their abilities with the best traveling series in the business. The outcome was positive, but left room for improvement. 

Friday night saw the #17 time in the 13th position out of 33 cars present.  Daryn lead the way in the heat race and was never threatened by another car.  The heat race win allowed the Keen Motorsports team to be in the draw for the dash.  The JEI chassis team started 7th in the dash and finished 9th, meaning the #17 would line up inside row five for the feature.  Despite a strong run early in the feature the team ended the night in 13th position. Decisions- Decisions and Taylor Tastes Victory!

Well sometimes things happen and decisions must be made…..Daryn is now the driver for Keen Motorsports driving the #17.  We would like to thank Pete Postupack and the Pete’s Motorsports team for providing us an opportunity to race with a great team and great group of people.  We truly appreciate it!  Thanks for the hard work Brian, Jerry, Will, Kevin, and everyone that has helped us since February.  The team tasted victory at Grandview last week and  Baby Taylor had her first victory lane picture made!  I am sure it will pretty cool when she is older that she was in victory circle at 2 months of age!  The team also had great performances with the WOO finishing  5th, 6th, and 5th again!   It is true that you have a racing family and we consider Pete and Kathy part of that …thank you very much for everything from giving us a ride to selling shirts to helping with Baby Taylor!  .  ….READ MORE

Mandy’s Monthly!- April

Well, it is amazing that a month has passed since the birth of Taylor!  Time has really flown by!    I always wondered why new moms talked about how busy they were….well we are!  It is amazing that a tiny little baby can make the day go by so quickly.  She definitely keeps us busy….feeding, eating, burping, changing, and of course crying.  Daryn is a great dad and very hands on!  He takes care of her every need and it is very nice to have him home during the week to help out.  ….READ MORE
